Via Dolorosa [고난의 길]  Sandi Patti,   인순이  Down the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem that day  그날 예루살렘에 있는 슬픈 고난의 길에서  The soldiers tried to clear the narrow street 병사들이 좁은 길을 정리하려고 애썼지요.    But the crowd pressed in to see A Man condemned  to die on Calvary  하지만 군중들은 갈보리의 사형수를 보기 위해 밀려왔어요.   He was bleeding from a beating, there were stripes upon His back 그는 채찍질을 당해 피를 흘리고 등에는 채찍 자국이 남아 있었으며, And He wore a crown of thorns upon His head 머리에는 가시관을 쓰고 있었어요.  And He bore with every step The scorn of those who cried out for His death 그의 죽음을 큰소리로 외치는 사람들의 조롱을 견디며 한걸음씩 내딛고 있었어요. Down the Via Dolorosa called the way of suffering 그의 '고난의 길'이라 불리는 '비아 돌로로사'를...   Like a lamb came the Messiah, Christ the King, 왕이신 그리스도, 구세주께서 어린 양처럼 오셨지만, But He chose to walk that road out of His love for you and me  그는 우리를 위한 사랑으로 그 길을 걷기로  결정하셨지요.
