Jim Reeves1923년 (미국) ~ 1964년 사망 1956년 1집 앨범 'Jim Reeves Sings' 로 데뷔. 어릴적 아버지가 일찍 돌아가셔서 힘들고 가난하게 생활하며 10세때부터 댄스파티장에서 연주하며 번 돈으로 어렵게 살았다 한다. 컨트리 싱어송 라이터로 세계적 명성을 얻은 짐은 1964년 비행기 사고로 40세의 아까운 나이로 세상을 떠났지만 그가 불러준 희망적이고 아름다운 노래들은 지금도 수많은 세계인들에게 따뜻함을 전해주고 있다.
