체리핑크 맘보 (Cherry pink Mambo) - 안다성 / (1961)

 

 

 

'Cherry Pink And Apple Blossom White' ​앨런 데일(Alan Dale, 1925~2002)이 1955년에 불렀으니 60년이 넘는 노래다. ​ 이 노래의 원곡은 'Cerisiers Roses Et Pommiers Blancs(장미빛 벚꽃과 하얀 사과꽃)'인데 자크 라뤼(Jacques Larue)가 작사하고 피에르 루이기(Pierre Louiguy)가 작곡하여 'Viens Valser Avec Papa(아빠와 함께 춤을)'로 유명한 앙드레 클라보(Andre Claveau)가 1950년에 처음 불렀고 그 후 프랑스의 여성 가수 이베트 지로(Yvette Giraud)도 이 노래를 발표하였다. 우리나라에는 팻 분(Pat Boone)의 노래가 잘 알려져 있으며 안다성(安多星)이 '체리 핑크 맘보'라는 곡명에 '능금꽃이 필 적에 귀여운 손목을 잡고, 첫사랑 속삭이던 그대는 어데 갔나' 라는 가사를 붙인 번안곡을 내놓았다. ​ 봄이다. 산이고 들이고 온갖 봄꽃들이 다투어 핀다. 연분홍 벚꽃도 만개하여 화려하고 풍성한 자태를 뽐내고 있고 사과꽃도 소담스러운 꽃이파리를 하얗게 매달고 오가는 사람들의 눈길을 사로잡는다. 이맘때 딱 어울리는 노래가 바로 이 노래가 아닌가 싶다. ​ 'Cherry Pink And Apple Blossom White'의 경쾌한 멜로디를 들으면 절로 흥겨워진다. 가벼운 발걸음으로 봄맞이에 나서 보는 건 어떨까.
