Lake Isle Of Innisfree(이니스프리호수) Bill Douglas(Music) W.B.Yeats(詩) Jane Grimes, 외 (Vocalist)    I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree, And a small cabin build there, of clay and wattles made; Nine bean-rows will I have there, a hive for the honey-bee And live alone in the bee-loud glade. And I shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow, Dropping from the veils of the morning to where the cricket sings; There midnight's all a glimmer, and noon a purple glow, And evening full of the linnet's wings. I will arise and go now, for always night and day I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore; While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements grey, I hear it in the deep heart's core.   나 이제 일어나 가리, 이니스프리로 가리. 거기 외줄기 엮어 진흙 바른 작은오막집 짓고 아홉 이랑 콩 심고, 꿀벌통 하나 두고 벌떼소리 요란한 숲 속에서 홀로 살으리. 그리고, 거기에서 얼마쯤의 평화를 누리리, 평화는 천천히 아침의 베일로부터, 귀뚜라미 우는 곳으로 방울져 내리거든 한밤중에는 온통 빛나고, 대낮에는 보라빛 光彩가 있고. 저녁엔 홍방울새 날개 소리 가득한 그 곳. 나 이제 일어나 가리, 밤이나 낮이나 호숫가의 잔물결 소리 듣고 있으니 한길이나 잿빛 鋪道위에 서 있을 때도 가슴 깊은 곳에서 그 물결 소리 들리네.                          아일랜드 출신인 시인 예이츠가 고향의 아름답고 평화로운 세계로 지향하고 싶은 심정을 노래한 시이다. 이니스프리는 시인의 고향인 아일랜드의 호수 속에 있는 작은 섬으로 시인이 어린 시절을 보낸 곳이다. 전원의 고향을 그리워하며 소박하게 지내겠다는 이 시는 동양의 귀거래(歸去來) 정신과도 일치한다고 볼 수 있다.
